10th (SSC) Certificate Apostille and Attestation
Apostille or embassy attestation for your Class 10 (SSC / matriculation) certificate and marksheet from CBSE, ICSE, NIOS or any State board, made ready for study, work or family visas abroad.

10th SSC certificate apostille: quick answer
In short, 10th SSC certificate apostille is the MEA's apostille on your 10th certificate. It is recognised in every Hague Convention country. We complete it in three steps in New Delhi: notary, SDM verification and the MEA apostille, for which the government fee is ₹50 per document.
For the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and other non-Hague countries the apostille is not accepted. There you need 10th certificate attestation: notary, SDM, MEA attestation and then the embassy stamp.
We arrange 10th certificate apostille from start to finish by courier, for clients in every State. Share a photo of the 10th certificate on WhatsApp with the country name, and we confirm the route and price in writing.
Why a 10th certificate needs an apostille
The Class 10 certificate is often the first document a foreign authority asks for, because it proves both schooling and date of birth. Universities abroad want the full education trail, and several Gulf employers ask for every certificate from Class 10 upward before issuing a work visa.
An apostille from the Ministry of External Affairs makes the certificate acceptable in every Hague Convention country. For the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and other non-Hague countries, the same certificate needs MEA attestation followed by the embassy stamp.
Students applying abroad
Undergraduate and Ausbildung applications often ask for the 10th and 12th together.
Date-of-birth proof
Many foreign offices accept the 10th certificate as proof of birth date.
Gulf work visas
Some employers ask for 10th, 12th and degree attested as one set.
Family and dependant visas
Children moving schools abroad may need their board certificate legalised.

Tips before sending your 10th certificate
- Check that the name and date of birth match your passport exactly; a spelling difference can delay the foreign process.
- A laminated certificate cannot be stamped on the back. If yours is laminated, ask the board for a duplicate first.
- The certificate and the marksheet are two separate documents, and each gets its own apostille.

FAQs: 10th SSC certificate apostille and attestation
How do I get my 10th certificate apostilled by the Ministry of External Affairs?
The 10th certificate goes to a New Delhi notary, then to the SDM office for verification, and then to the MEA for the apostille. INFINITYGRO manages the whole file by courier, so you only post the original and receive it back stamped.
What are the charges for 10th SSC certificate apostille?
Expect ₹1,000–₹1,500 per document as our service charge for an apostille, in addition to the ₹50 the MEA collects per document. Courier is billed separately. Attestation for the Gulf costs more because each embassy sets its own fee; we confirm it in a written quote.
Is the 10th certificate the same as the 10th marksheet for apostille?
Not always. Many boards issue a separate passing certificate and marksheet; each is a separate document with its own apostille and fee. Some State boards print both on one sheet, which then needs only one apostille.
What documents are required for 10th certificate attestation?
The original 10th certificate, a clear copy of your passport (photo and address pages), and a signed authorisation letter that we send you. Tell us the destination country and purpose, because the route depends on it.
What is the process for 10th certificate attestation for the UAE, Qatar or Kuwait?
For these non-Hague countries the 10th certificate is notarised and verified by the SDM in New Delhi, attested by the MEA, and then legalised by the embassy of the destination country. For the UAE, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs adds a final stamp inside the UAE.
Can a NIOS 10th certificate be apostilled?
Yes. NIOS is a national board, and its certificates follow the same Notary, SDM and MEA route as CBSE or State board certificates.
How long does 10th SSC certificate apostille take?
It varies with the workload at the SDM office and the MEA, and with the embassy if attestation is needed. We tell you the expected date before you courier the 10th certificate, and we message you as each stamp is done.
Apostille or attestation: which one does my 10th certificate need?
Look at the destination. If it is a Hague Convention member (for example Saudi Arabia, Oman, Italy, Germany, Japan or Australia), the apostille is enough. If it is the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait or China, the 10th certificate needs attestation and the embassy stamp.
Do I need my 10th certificate apostilled for a job abroad?
Usually only the highest qualification is required, but some employers and visa systems ask for the full set from Class 10. Check your offer letter or ask us with a photo of the requirement.
