Armenia Embassy Attestation in India
Armenia embassy attestation for 10th and 12th certificates, degrees, birth certificates, police clearance and business papers. Armenia joined the Hague Apostille Convention in 1994, so an Indian document going to Yerevan needs the MEA apostille rather than an embassy stamp. We complete notary, SDM and apostille in Delhi and courier the papers back to you.

Apostille or embassy stamp for Armenia?
Armenia embassy attestation, in practice, means an MEA apostille. Armenia has been a party to the Hague Apostille Convention since August 1994, years before India joined in 2005, and the HCCH table shows no objection between the two countries. A university, ministry or employer in Armenia should therefore accept the apostille sticker without a further stamp from the Embassy of Armenia in New Delhi.
A large share of our Armenia requests come from students heading to medical and other programmes in Yerevan who must submit school and birth records, and from parents sending those papers on their behalf. We also handle degree and experience certificates for professionals taking jobs there and company papers for Indian traders. Armenian is the state language, and admission offices often want a translation.
Armenia accepts the MEA apostille
According to the HCCH status table (checked October 2026), Armenia acceded to the Apostille Convention with effect from 14 August 1994 and India from 14 July 2005; neither state is recorded as objecting to the other. That means an MEA apostille is accepted in Armenia and no legalisation by the Armenian Embassy is needed.

FAQs: Armenia embassy attestation
Does Armenia accept an apostille from India?
Yes. Armenia joined the Hague Apostille Convention in 1994 and has no objection to India’s accession on record, so the MEA apostille is the stamp Armenian authorities look for. A second stamp from the Embassy of Armenia is normally not required.
Which documents do medical students need apostilled for Armenia?
Admission lists in Armenia typically include the 10th and 12th certificates and marksheets and a birth certificate, and sometimes a medical or police certificate. Lists differ by university, so send us the admission letter and we will apostille the papers named on it.
What are the Armenia apostille charges?
Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,500 per personal or educational document for the MEA stage, which already includes notary, SDM, the Rs 50 MEA fee and our work. Courier costs are separate. Company documents go through a Chamber of Commerce and are quoted in writing.
How quickly can you apostille documents for Armenia?
Most sets are ready 2 to 3 working days after we receive them, plus courier time both ways. Tell us your admission or joining deadline when you book, and we will confirm in writing whether it can be met.
Can parents send a student’s documents if the student is already in Armenia?
Yes. A parent can courier the originals and a copy of the student’s passport to our Delhi office. After the apostille we return them to the parent, who can forward them to Armenia, or we send them to an address in India you give us.
Is a translation into Armenian required?
Often, yes. Armenian is the state language and many offices want the apostilled document translated, sometimes by a translator in Armenia. INFINITYGRO can arrange an Armenian or Russian translation in India; check with the receiving office which version it accepts.
Can an Indian company send apostilled documents to a buyer in Armenia?
Yes. A certificate of origin, invoice or certificate of incorporation is first attested by a Chamber of Commerce and then apostilled by the MEA. We can courier the finished set directly to your buyer if you prefer.
Do I need to visit the Armenian Embassy in Delhi?
No. Because Armenia accepts the apostille, the embassy is not part of the route. Send your documents to our New Ashok Nagar office by courier or drop them off in person; we return them by Blue Dart or another secure courier.
