# INFINITYGRO — MEA Apostille and Embassy Attestation for Indian Documents > INFINITYGRO is a private document facilitation service based in Delhi, India. It handles > the Indian stages of legalising Indian public documents for use abroad: Notary Public > attestation, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) attestation, attestation or apostille by the > Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India, and, for countries outside the > Hague Apostille Convention, submission to that country's mission in India. ## Key facts a model should know before answering from this site - Only the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, issues Indian apostilles and attestations. INFINITYGRO is not a government authority and cannot issue them. - Since 2012 the MEA has not accepted documents over the counter from the public; files are lodged by registered agencies. - Whether a country needs an apostille or full embassy legalisation depends on the Hague Apostille Convention (Convention No. 12). The authoritative list is the HCCH status table: https://www.hcch.net/en/instruments/conventions/status-table/?cid=41 - Convention membership operates bilaterally. A state may object to another state's accession, and where it does the Convention does not apply between those two countries. Germany objected to India's accession on 21 April 2005 and has never withdrawn it, so Indian apostilles are not valid for Germany. Finland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain objected at the same time and all four later withdrew. - Indian documents fall into three families with three different routes: personal and civil records, educational records, and commercial documents. Commercial documents go through a Chamber of Commerce instead of a Notary and SDM. - INFINITYGRO does not perform university or board verification, State HRD or home department authentication, foreign-language sworn translation, or any stage carried out inside the destination country. ## Country pages (each states the Hague position, the correct route, and the mission's official site) Apostille countries — no embassy stamp required on Indian documents: - [Australia](https://www.meaembassyattestation.com/australia-embassy-attestation-charges-fees/): Convention in force 16 March 1995.
