Marksheet Apostille and Attestation
Apostille or embassy attestation for school, college and university marksheets, semester grade cards and consolidated marksheets, in the same courier as your degree.

Marksheet apostille: quick answer
Marksheet apostille is the stamp the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) puts on your Indian marksheet so that it is accepted in Hague Convention countries. On our route the marksheet is notarised in New Delhi, verified by the SDM office and then apostilled by the MEA, which charges a government fee of ₹50 per document.
Going to the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait or another country outside the Hague Convention? Then you need Marksheet attestation instead: the same notary and SDM steps, MEA attestation, and legalisation by that country's embassy in New Delhi.
INFINITYGRO handles Marksheet apostille in india for clients across India by courier. Send a WhatsApp photo of your marksheet and the destination country, and you get the route and a written quote before anything is sent.
Why marksheets are apostilled with the degree
A degree certificate shows that you passed; the marksheet shows what you studied and how you scored. Universities abroad, credential evaluators and licensing bodies often need both, which is why marksheets are the most common documents we apostille after degrees.
Every marksheet is a separate document for the MEA, so six semester grade cards mean six apostilles. If your university issues a consolidated marksheet, legalising that one sheet usually costs less and is accepted in its place.
Semester grade cards
Each semester sheet is apostilled separately.
Consolidated marksheet
One sheet covering the whole course.
School marksheets
Class 10 and 12 board marksheets.
Postgraduate grade cards

Tips before sending your marksheet
- Ask the receiving authority whether a consolidated marksheet is enough; it can cut the number of apostilles sharply.
- Printouts of online results are generally not accepted; use the signed original issued by the board or university.
- Back-paper or supplementary results are separate sheets and may also be needed to show a complete record.

FAQs: Marksheet apostille and attestation
How do I get my marksheet apostilled by the Ministry of External Affairs?
First the original marksheet is attested by a notary in New Delhi. The SDM office in New Delhi then verifies the notary, and the MEA fixes the apostille sticker on the back. You can courier the original to us; we complete all three steps and courier it back.
What are the charges for Marksheet apostille?
The MEA charges a government fee of ₹50 per document for an apostille. Our service charge for Marksheet apostille is usually ₹1,000–₹1,500 per document, and courier is extra. Embassy attestation for the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and other countries costs more and is quoted per country. You always get a written quote first.
Is each marksheet charged separately?
Yes. The MEA treats every marksheet as a separate document, so the government fee and our service fee apply per sheet. A consolidated marksheet reduces the count.
What documents are required for Marksheet attestation?
The original marksheet, a clear copy of your passport (photo and address pages), and a signed authorisation letter that we send you. Tell us the destination country and purpose, because the route depends on it.
What is the process for Marksheet attestation for the UAE, Qatar or Kuwait?
For these non-Hague countries the marksheet is notarised and verified by the SDM in New Delhi, attested by the MEA, and then legalised by the embassy of the destination country. For the UAE, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs adds a final stamp inside the UAE.
Can a DigiLocker marksheet be apostilled?
A DigiLocker document is valid in India, but for apostille we work from the original signed marksheet. Some boards and universities also offer verification through e-Sanad.
How long does Marksheet apostille take?
The time depends on the queues at the SDM office, the MEA and, for attestation, the embassy. We confirm an expected completion date in your written quote and update you on WhatsApp at every stage. Embassy attestation takes longer than an apostille.
Apostille or attestation: which one does my marksheet need?
It depends on the country where you will use the marksheet. Hague Convention countries, such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, Germany, Italy, the UK and Australia, accept the MEA apostille. Non-Hague countries, such as the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and China, need MEA attestation followed by embassy legalisation.
Do I need marksheets if I already have the degree apostilled?
Many universities and licensing bodies abroad want both. Employers often need only the degree. Check the exact list from the receiving authority.
